Daily flights are available into Martha’s Vineyard on American Airlines, Cape Air, Delta and Jet Blue.



By Ferry, Car & Bus

While you can walk onto any of their 12+ daily crossings, you MUST make an advanced reservation for your car by going to the Steamship Authority website or calling 508-477-8600, starting on January 25, 2022. The ferry from Woods Hole is the ONLY one that will take your car.

Getting Around Martha’s Vineyard

If you don’t bring a car, you can walk to a lot of places, take public transportation, rent a bike, car or moped. Additionally, cabs are readily available across the island. Explore these options in advance as prices fluctuate in the summer.

If you are staying at the Mansion House Inn in Vineyard Haven, it is walking distance from the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.

African-American Film Festival 

The Run&Shoot Filmworks Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival also known as "The Summer's Finest Film Festival" is now entering its 20th year on Martha's Vineyard. They have screened and promoted some of the most outstanding and emerging Feature, Documentary and Short films produced by and starring African Americans from across the world.  All screenings and events take place at Martha's Vineyard Performing Arts Center (MVPAC) located adjacent to Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.
